about us
Onde Solaire is formed of the two guitarists Sonja Merz and Clara Parolini. The project found its first spark during a festive post-confinement summer night in 2021 as we were studying at the Basel Hochschule für Musik.
For our first project, we turned to Ida Presti's music for two guitars, inspired by the colors and vibrancy of her music. We recorded her "Danse d'Avila" for our first music video, coming out on 4th November 2022!
Working on music by women composers, sometimes in a joyful, lighthearted mood, sometimes enjoying more introspective atmospheres : that's our direction for upcoming projects, as well as extending the repertoire with new transcriptions and exploring the sound of two guitars in different chamber music setup.
